Getting Started

As a media partner, you have two options for monetising your web traffic. You can send traffic directly to one of our brands using a unique URL so we can attribute conversions to your account, or you can set up your own website to accept loan applications using our Whitelabel form.

We recommend setting up your own Whitelabel only if you have previous experience with affiliate marketing and web development.

Steps To Get Started​

Follow the steps below to open an account at AVICA.

Apply for an account​

Contact info@leadsclinic.com to open up an account. Please describe how you will generate traffic and which websites you own. Remember to include your contact information and your banking information. We use this to pay out commissions (commission is paid out only when R1,000 in commission due is accumulated). We will contact you within a couple of days to discuss our partnership.

Get access​ to the back-end​

After getting access to our platform, you should decide if you want to set up a Whitelabel form or send traffic directly to one of our websites. Both options come with different benefits and restrictions. Read more about our general guidelines on this page.

Deliver traffic​​

When everything has been set up, tested and verified, AVICA will accept traffic from your sources. Together, we will monitor traffic to ensure it generates conversions.

Follow statistics and reporting​​

You have several options on how to track conversions. On the AVICA platform, you can use our self-service reporting tool to get insights into the most critical KPIs. You are also able to callbacks your internal systems will be notified of conversions.

Furthermore, you can use our API to pull statistics into your data warehouse for deeper analysis.

Rules & Restrictions​

As our media partner, you will need to follow all applicable local laws and regulations. All our media partners are also required to comply with the following:

Blocklist​

AVICA has a Blocklist of users that have complained about getting offers from us, and you will need to ensure that these users do NOT receive any offers about our loan comparison services. Either we can email new additions to you, or you can add a callback URL to our system. We will then call the URL every time a new entry is added to the blocklist.

Traffic sources​

  • Accepted traffic sources: SMS / Email / Blogs / Display
  • Denied traffic sources: Content Lock / Adult / Incentivised / Virtual currency
  • No Facebook traffic directly to the MyLoan.co.za site is allowed.
  • Use of the terms "MyLoan.co.za", "MyLoan", or "My Loan" is not allowed.
  • No SEM traffic directly to MyLoan.co.za site is permitted.

Mail & SMS Marketing​

  • The consumer must have actively opted in to receive marketing emails before sending any emails.
  • Only our email templates may be used if mentioning MyLoan.
  • The sender name/domain/subject line may not mention MyLoan or other financial institutions.
  • The use of false phrases such as free loans, or loans for payment remarks or guaranteed loans is strictly forbidden.
  • Unsubscribe: All email creatives need to contain an active link to unsubscribe.
  • When needed, the publisher needs to be ready to evidence the opt-in (URL, IP address and time stamp) of users to the newsletter.
